Love the craftsmanship and design, but the gold does wear off after a few days...

Beautiful but some issues

I have been eyeing this ring for a while now. Finally, once the end of summer sale began, I knew I had to get it. It is really beautiful but I will give a warning. The gold vermeil arrives looking very orange & looks fake. But I've worn this ring for a month now & it has paled very nicely. Another issue is that the gold tends to wear off pretty easily. I already have some parts looking silver. I would recommend getting this ring in silver instead or just wear the gold version for certain events, not everyday.
