Summer of Love
The Summer of Love was in full swing. It was 1967, and the mundaneness of their safe, suburban lives had become stifling. With just a few bucks to their name and the keys to their parents’ car, they hit the open road. San Francisco was the place to be—a city full of free-spirits, big ideas and a seemingly endless abundance of psychedelics. They wanted to open their minds, but when the tea took hold, they realized they had gotten more than they bargained for. “Too late now,” they agreed—better buckle up and enjoy the ride.
